These Medal Commemorates the Visit of the Queen for the Opening of the Black friars Bridge and Holborn Valley Viaduct. This impressive 2-coin set features the Queen Victoria on the obverse and the City Shield in the center joining 2 wreaths depicting views of 11 $599.00 the Black friars Bridge below and the Holborn Valley Viaduct above. These Impressive Medals are 76mm in diameter and are both in near pristine condition, and the double box is in excellent condition as well. A rare find in this condition with a mintage of only 350 Minted. 1887 2-coin City of London Commemorative Medals in original double Mint Box (EIMER #1732) This Medal Commemorates the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria 1837-1887. The obverse features a young portrait and a current portrait of the Queen conjoined, and the reverse shows Britannia standing in a car drawn by two lions and lead by Genius, with 12 $450.00 Justice and Prudence on either sides. 1 Medal has been cleaned and has hairlines, the other Medal looks to be original with a few darker spots. The box is together but in rough shape, but still a rare find to have any of these double coin boxes at all. Mintage of this Medal was only 450! 1874-1965 Sterling Silver Medallion featuring Rt. Hon Sir Winston Churchill. This Medal was issued at his death and features a portrait of Winston Churchill at his finest during WWII with his 2 passions, writing and art in the background, the 13 $50.00 reverse features a soldier at ocean side with the words “Very Well Alone” along the bottom. This Medal comes in original mint case (some spots on the inner lining) Medal weighs 81 grams. Rare Copper Medallion Commemorating the Inauguration of the Monument Mariette on July 16th 1882. Francois Auguste Ferdinand Mariette was a French Egyptologist born on Feb. 11 1821 in Boulogne-Sur-Mer and dies January 18th 1881 14 $150.00 in Ciro Egypt. This Medal comes in its original round case and has an impressive diameter of 70mm and weighs 150 grams. The Medallion is in pristine condition and has lustrous chocolate brown surfaces. 1887 Queen Victoria Jubilee Medallion Commemorating 50 Years on the Throne. This Medallion has a bust of the Queen on the obverse and the obverse features 15 $45.00 significant life dates. This Medallion is 32mm in diameter and weighs 11.4grams and comes in Mint case. 1958 Montreal Quebec Copper Medallion awarded to Monique Valade.
