Dr. Welling received her PhD in 2008 from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. She heads the Welling Research Laboratory, where her and her students’ research focuses on behaviors related to sexual selection, with a special focus on hormonal mediation. Todd K. Shackelford is Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology at Oakland University. He received his PhD in evolutionary psychology in 1997 from the University of Texas at Austin.
