Description:

Libya, North African Campaign - 1940.

The Italian army, outnumbering the British and Commonwealth army in Egypt by three to one, cautiously cross the frontier in force.

January 1941 - General Wavell's understrength forces counter-attack and against all odds start to drive the Italians back to their start point.

Prime Minister Churchill steps in when success seems to be all but certain and  orders an immediate halt to the offensive - instead he gives approval to another type of operation over his generals strenuous objections - Operation Wolf.

A special hand picked LRDG Commando Troop formed specifically for the task, known as "X Troop'', its soon at its operationally required strength of sixty officers and men from all over the Commonwealth.

All volunteers It includes people like Corporal Owen an expert with explosives who dislikes all officers, Sergeant Quested a burly ex-artilleryman who likes hitting things with his fists until their unconscious or dead and Private Jorrocks a former member of the yeomanry who hates being called 'Jock'.

Operation Wolfs Target is a a former French Foreign Legion Fort, a few miles outside of Tripoli.

The aim of Operation Wolf is to seize the objective and to ravage it.

Completely.

To wipe out any defensive obstructions.

To lay waste to the opposition - No Prisoners.

And to annihilate every single defender in a way that strikes terror in the enemy's heart like nothing before.

The goal is to be so ruthless and terrifying that the Italians ask for an immediate surrender.

But the opposition proves to be far tougher and just as nasty, more so than they had ever expected....

'Seize and Ravage' is a page-turning story of bravery and courage set in some of fiercest fighting of WWII.
