Rockin Pneumonia Line Dance Calvin Campbell Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu was a R&R song made popular in 1972 by Johnny Rivers. The line dance was probably choreographed about the same time period. This dance routine has been used for many other tunes. The video was made from a clip out of six TV shows taped in 1995. Here is a short description of the dance routine. I don’t try to get beginner dancers to do a grapevine vine step. I just teach side-close-side-touch. What the line dancers call a “triple” is really a quick two-step.
