This handbook is designed to inform you of procedures and regulations with which you must be familiar. In many cases, official college policy is summarized from the College catalog. Because you are responsible for observing the rules and regulations of Roanoke- Chowan Community College, please make sure you read both this handbook and the catalog. As | am sure you have noticed, we are in the process of remodeling/bullding, and several areas of the campus are under construction. This process /s quickly drawing to a close, and RCCC will be able to more adequately, effectively, and efficiently meet your needs as a stu- dent. Our goal at RCCC is to provide students with a positive learning environment and skilled faculty and staff, which are conducive to academic excellence.
