This book was created with the same goals and formats of R adiology Illustrated: Uroradiology , which is the fi rst of the series. This practical guide to the imaging diagnosis of the gynecologic diseases provides more than 3,700 selected and categorized illus- trations, along with brief, key text pages. The value of this illustrative book depends on how often the readers open it on the working table. Once the readers review this book, it will help them to easily recall the correct images and work through to a differential diagnosis. I owe so much to my teachers and colleagues—radiologists, gynecologists, and patholo- gists—for collecting the materials in this illustrative book. I am indebted to the authors of this book for their great contribution. The strongest support in fi nishing this task was the love and encouragement given to me by my dear and devoted wife Byung Hee and my son Jin Woong. I hope to see the Radiology Illustrated series continue in other specialties following uroradiol- ogy and gynecologic imaging.
