Introducing the Cast of PETER PAN The Musical Taylor Bass (PETER PAN) - This is Taylor’s second show on the CTG stage and she could not be more thrilled to play such an enjoyable role. As a former competitive Irish Dancer, Taylor knew she belonged on the stage. Currently, Taylor is studying Musical Theatre at College of the Canyons and was most recently seen as Velma in CTG’s production of West Side Story, and Dance Ensemble in SCRT’s production of Mary Poppins. Taylor would like to thank the production team for this incredible and challenging opportunity. “A haiku: I love Peter Pan, this show has been so much fun, haiku ends are hard.” George Cummings (HOOK/MR. DARLING) - George has spent many years on stage and has a few dozen theatrical credits to his name. A very short list of favorite roles include portraying Joe Keller in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, Franz Liebkind in The Producers, Satan in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Harold in The Full Monty, Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, Milo Tindle in Sleuth, Otto Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, and Max in another Ken Ludwig classic, Lend Me a Tenor. He is the morning DJ at AM 1220 KHTS, and owes all his motivation to his lovely wife, Margie. Ariana Calderon (WENDY DARLING) This is Ariana's first main stage show at CTG. She was mostly recently seen as Renee in the female version of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple. Her favorite role thus far, other than Wendy, has been Sandy in Grease. She takes voice lessons from Stephanie Davis and tap lessons from Erin Cholakian. In her free time Ariana enjoys crafting, Jamming out to Sondheim on a Friday nite and long walks to the fridge. DARLING / Noodler / Grizzley Bear) Mia really loves an adventure, whether it be traveling the world, bungee jumping, white water rafting, riding roller coasters or acting on stage;; a scary but thrilling ride, where just about anything can happen. Who could pass up the chance to try things you normally wouldn’t? Theatre is a true adventure for Mia. She has been seen on the CTG stage in A Miracle on 34th Street, Dixie Swim Club and The Giver. Aidan Johnson (JOHN DARLING) Aidan is thrilled to be back on stage in Peter Pan after his appearance last season in Spamalot. Previous roles include Tommy Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life (CTG/Glendale Center Theatre), Young Dick in Karma (El Portal), Jim Hollis in Tom Sawyer (CTG), Ensemble in Les Miserables (SCRT), and Bat Boy/Ensemble in Damn Yankees (CTG). He is in 8th grade and attends Castaic Middle School. He plays drums and guitar. He would like to thank Jackie for this opportunity. Cole Carter (MICHAEL DARLING) Cole is honored to join the Canyon Theatre Guild’s talented cast of Peter Pan, the British Musical. Cole lives in Valencia and attends Albert Einstein Academy. He is in the 7th grade, and his favorite class is Drama, where he has received lots of encouragement from his teacher, Mr. Marlowe Weisman. Cole also enjoys competitive swimming. Cole would like to thank his Mom, Dad, Sister Camryn, his Grandpa, Grandma, Aunty Judy, and Mr. Weisman for their support. He also thanks Director Jackie Mellor- Guin for allowing him to have this valuable experience. Kaitlyn Lavo (Nana / Crocodile / Indian Brave) This is Kaitlyn's 3rd show at CTG. She started with the workshops when she was a wee child. She is so excited for these roles, they are not like anything she has done before! She is studying speech pathology and is an aspiring actress. She loves working with this cast! Break a leg! Christine Afetian (TIGER LILY/LIZA) Christina is thrilled to play the role of Tiger Lily - a role she has wanted since she was 6 years old! Christina is a freshman and in the show choir at Hart H.S. This is her 3rd main stage production with CTG. A huge thanks to Jackie, Thom, Stephanie, Erin, and her family for believing in her and for this amazing opportunity! Ellie Pearlman (TOOTLES) Ellie is so happy to be a part of CTG's performance of Peter Pan. Ellie has been acting since the age of five and has had eight years of on stage experience. This is Ellie's fourth show at CTG and she is so excited to be back with her CTG family! Special thanks to her mom and dad for their support Alex Afetian (NIBS) Alex is having a lot of fun playing Nibs in his first production with CTG. He comes from a musical family and auditioned for Peter Pan at the suggestion of his mom. He plays the drums and basketball and is in the 7th grade. “I would like to thank my mom, director Jackie, and everyone on the team for this awesome opportunity!” Lydia Botello (SLIGHTLY) Lydia is so excited to be in Peter Pan! Lydia has been in many productions at CTG. Most recently she has played Jane Banks in Mary Poppins. A BIG thanks to Jackie, Thom, Stephanie and Erin for casting me and to my friends and family for their support! Chloe Rogers (TWIN 1) Hello, my name is Chloe Rogers. In my spare time I like to sing, tap dance and read. I have been taking singing lessons with Stephanie Davis and I am taking tap lessons with Erin Cholakian. At my school Rosedell Elementary I am in The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. I am really looking forward to doing this play and getting this opportunity! Keila Viray (TWIN 2) Keila is extremely proud to be part of this wonderful production of Peter Pan. Keila is a 4th grader passionate about reading, singing and playing the piano. Past theater performances include Annie and Sound of Music. She's grateful for this amazing experience. Michael Smith (SMEE) Michael has appeared in over thirty productions including Biloxi Blues, Les Miserables, The Little Mermaid, White Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life, Grease, Annie, Hairspray!, and Miracle on 34th Street, Michael was also Sir Bedevere in Spamalot and Admiral Boom in Mary Poppins. Additional experience includes two seasons with the Geneva Repertory Company performing Shakespeare and directed productions of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Brighton Beach Memoirs. For CTG, he was stage manager for The Miracle Worker and assistant stage manager for Shrek. Joe Aboulafia (CECCO/INDIAN CHIEF) Joe appeared last season as Officer Krupke in West Side Story and was honored with the Irwin G Wallpaper Award. Thanks to Jackie and her entire production team. Michael Singletary (BILL JUKES/Running Dog) Michael performs around town with Bruce Geiger as Men of Distinction. He has sung with several groups including the Santa Clarita Master Chorale. Michael supports local arts with his wife Moire;; artist, teacher, & co-founder of Forge Ahead Arts. Peter Pan is Michael’s theater debut… such fun! Paige Noltemeyer (SKYLIGHT / Bald Eagle) Paige is EXTREMELY excited to perform in Peter Pan the Musical as her 6th production at CTG. When not at theatre, she enjoys time with family and creative filming. "Thank you Jackie for believing in me again and for the opportunity to work with this very talented cast and team." Away to Neverland! Kathryn Metcalf (COOKSON / Stalking Deer) Kathryn is grateful to be involved in this production with the wonderful directors and cast. She has been involved with many theater productions over the years. She has vocal training under Stephanie Davis and acting training under Jarod Scott Actors Workshop. Currently she teaches a Children's Musical Theatre Class at Gervais School of Performing Arts. John Charles Lucewich (STARKEY / Cunning Fox) John was last seen as Snowboy in CTG’s production of West Side Story. Afterwards, he went on to write / direct the annual Holipalooza. He wishes to thank his mother Sheri, father John, sisters Pennie and Crystal and his girlfriend Maia for their continuing support. Also a big “thank you” to director Jackie for “allowing me to have this opportunity!”. Jackson Caruso (MULLINS / Singing Bull) This is Jackson's sixth show with the CTG, last seen in West Side Story.
