With a liberal arts education, that initially planted seed, watered in the pursuit of knowledge, can grow in many different paths. As we enter new social lives, new academic lives and new extracurricular lives, we have the chance to plant new seedsanddevelopnewinterests. And while we as students plant academic and social seeds, Washington College plants its own seeds as an institution and community. "Green," environmentally friendly initiatives have earned WC national note; a new center for the fine arts promises to promote music, theater and art in a small community; a new set of dorms has been opened for residence, and the groundwork fora new dining hall andstudentcenterlurks inthenearfuture. 04 Opening k 06 StudentLife
