“Educating for Life!” Parent Ambassador Training Session We believe that parents are the best advocates for the school and can greatly influence others that OLPH is the “Best School in the Universe.” Agenda “EducatingforLife!” • Importance of Parent Ambassadors • Why OLPH? • What do you love about OLPH School? • Become a Parent Ambassador • Closing Prayer Importance of Parent Ambassadors “EducatingforLife!” • Bishop Larry Silva spearheaded the program in the Hawaii Catholic Schools • Sister Davilyn and the School Board appointed the PTSA Executive Board to be the lead in the Parent Ambassador Program • Many Catholic schools are struggling financially because of less than optimal enrollment. • This program uses the most effective agents for recruitment: Parents of students who attend Catholic schools • Parent Ambassadors will speak to other parents about how OLPH is the best school to send their children to.
