W ASSHAUSEN Department of Botany, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC 20560 USA. ABSTRACT. Ten new Brazilian taxa of Begonia: B. cacauicola, B. euryphylla, B. matogrossensis, B. mattos silvae, B. pinheironis, B. pluvialis, B. polygonifolia A. DC. var. differens, B. russelliana, B. serranegrae, and B. windischii are described, illustrated, and compared to neighboring taxa from an unpublished key of Brazilian Begonia. Begonia oxyphylla A.
