CMSP 2012 re- ceived328submissionsfrom10countriesandregions.Afterrigorousreviews,79 high-qualitypaperswereselectedforpublicationintheCMSP2012proceedings. Theacceptanceratewas24.08%. The aim of CMSP 2012 was to bring together researchers working in many different areas of multimedia, image, video and signal processing to foster the exchange of new ideas and promote international collaboration.
