After five years in the Double-A Texas League, the Express continued its success with the move to the Triple-A Pacific Coast League in 2005. In just its second season as a member of Triple-A, the club won the PCL American Conference Championship and was named the recipient of the Larry MacPhail Award for outstanding promotional work in 2006. ExPRESS AMONG MiNOR LEAGuE ELiTE The Express kept the Dell Diamond full yet again in 2012, drawing the fifth-highest attendance in Minor League Baseball (595,584) and leading the Pacific Coast League for the second consecutive season. The Express brought out an average of 8,389 fans per game to the Dell Diamond last season, also leading the league for the second straight year. Since the franchise came to Round Rock for the inaugural 2000 season, the Express have a total attendance of 8,521,192, surpassing the 8 million mark early in the 2012 season. That figure ranks third in the PCL during the 12-year period behind only Sacramento and Memphis. What makes the mark even more impressive is that from 2000 to 2004, the Express was a member of the Double-A Texas League while the River Cats and Redbirds both were members of Triple-A prior to 2000.
