Schwarz (Prague) ELSEVIER JOURNAL OF CHROMATOGRAPHY INCLUDING ELECTROPHORESIS AND OTHER SEPARATION METHODS Scope. The Journa/ of Chromatography publishes papers on all aspects of chromatography, electrophoresis and related methods. Contributions consist mainly of research papers dealing with chromatographic theory, instrumental developments and their applications. The section Biomedical Applications, which is under separate editorship, deals with the following aspects: developments in and applications of chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques related to clinical diagnosis or alterations during medical treatment; screening and profiling of body fluids or tissues related to the analysis of active sub- stances and to metabolic disorders; drug level monitoring and pharmacokinetic studies; clinical toxicology; forensic medicine; veterinary medicine; occupational medicine; results from basic medical research with direct consequences in clinical practice. In Symposium volumes, which are under separate editorship, proceedings of symposia on chromatography, electrophoresis and related methods are published. Submission of Papers. The preferred medium of submission is on disk with accompanying manuscript (see E/ectronic manu- scripts in the Instructions to Authors, which can be obtained from the publisher, Elsevier Science Publishers B.V., P.O. Box 330, 1000 AH Amsterdam, Netherlands). Manuscripts (in English; four copies are required) should be submitted to: Editorial Office of Journal of Chromatography, P.O. Box 681, 1000 AR Amsterdam, Netherlands, Telefax (+31-20) 5862 304, or to: The Editor of Journal of Chromatography, Biomedical Applications, P.O. Box 681, 1000 AR Amsterdam, Netherlands. Review articles are invited or proposed in writing to the Editors who welcome suggestions for subjects. An outline of the proposed review should first be forwarded to the Editors for preliminary discussion prior to preparation. Submission of an article is understood to imply that the article is original and unpublished and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. For copyright regulations, see below. Publication.
