Oxyfluorfen emulsifiable concentrate isused as an agricultural insecticide. It is a selective herbicide, used to control weeds of broad spectrum leaved. Oxyfluorfen emulsifiable concentrate isgenerally manufactured tocontain 20and40percent (m+n)ofoxyfluorfen. Inthe preparation ofthis standard due consideration hasbeen given tothe provisions of Insecticides Act, 1968 and the Rules framed thereunder. However this standard is subject to restrictions imposed under the Act and Rules wherever applicable. For the purpose of deciding whether aparticular requirement of this standard iscomplied with, the final value, observed or calculated, expressing the r-esultof a test or analysis, shall be rounded off in accordance with IS2:1960 ‘Rules for rounding offnumerical values (revised’.
