The original version of this standard, IS 10912 : 1984 ‘Back window location and picture sizes in roll film photographic cameras’ was based on IS0 1203-1974 ‘Photography - Roll film cameras - Back window location and picture sizes’, issued by the lnternation,al Organization for Standardization ( IS0 ). Harmonization of the standard with International Standard has been made by the adoption of IS0 1203 : 1984. In the adopted standard, certain terminology and conventions are not identical with those used in Indian Standards; attention is especially drawn to the following: a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’. b) Comma ( , ) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards the current practice is to use a point ( . ) as the decimal marker.
