ACLMTs – Assembly Cons�tuency Level Master Trainers (ACLMTs) are iden�fied by the District Elec�on Officer who receive training from District Level Master Trainers or State Level Master Trainers in the State. ACLMTs impart training to the field func�onaries like BLOs and Data Entry Operators etc. under cascaded training model. 2. Addi�on – Addi�on means enrolment or inclusion of one's name in electoral roll of the cons�tuency by the Electoral Registra�on Officer, in which the formers' place of ordinary residence is located, on applica�on by the person concerned in Form-6. 3. AMF (Assured Minimum Facility) – The Elec�on Commission has directed that every District Elec�on Officer has to assure provision of the basic minimum voter friendly facili�es and ameni�es such as ramp, drinking water, toilet, ligh�ng, furniture, help desk and proper signage at each polling sta�on. These fundamental facili�es are called Assured Minimum Facility (AMF). 4. Assistant Electoral Registra�on Officer – The Elec�on Commission may appoint one or more persons as Assistant Electoral Registra�on Officers to assist an Electoral Registra�on Officer in the performance of his func�ons. Every Assistant Electoral Registra�on Officer shall, subject to the control of Electoral Registra�on Officer, be competent to perform all or any of the func�ons of Electoral Registra�on Officer. 5. Appeal – Under the provisions of Rule 23 of Registra�on of Electors Rules, 1960, if a person has a grievance against the decision of the Electoral Registra�on Officer made with regard to claims & objec�ons, he can prefer an appeal to the prescribed Appellate Authority, against the decision of the Electoral Registra�on Officer. The Appellate Authority shall give the appellant eligible opportunity of being heard before recording his final decision on an appeal. However, appeal will not have the effect of staying or postponing the final publica�on of the electoral roll. 6. Appellate Authority – Appeal shall be presented to the District Magistrate or Addi�onal District Magistrate or Execu�ve Magistrate or District Collector or an officer of equivalent rank as may be, no�fied as Appellate Authority in the Official Gaze�e by the Elec�on Commission. The Appellate Authority, a�er sa�sfying himself that the said appeal has been presented within the prescribed �me and in the manner required, shall give the appellant a reasonable opportunity of being heard. During the con�nuous upda�on there is a provision of second appeal also, which is allowed before the Chief Electoral Officer of the State. The decision of the Appellate Authority is final. 7. Auxiliary Polling Sta�on – Where the maximum number of electors in a polling area exceed beyond the limit prescribed by the Elec�on Commission, auxiliary polling sta�on(s) is provided bifurca�ng/trifurca�ng the exis�ng polling sta�on.
