WewereincrediblyfortunatetoworkwiththemasPostdoctoralResearchFellows intheArchéResearchCentre,andtoparticipateinthemanagementoftheonly large-scaleprojectonthenatureoflogicalconsequencetodate. Theprojectwasaresoundingsuccess.Ithasproducedhigh-levelresearchonall ofthetopicsthattheprojectsetouttocover.Thepresentvolumeisonlyasmall sample of the many excellent papers presented at FLC events. We are confident thatthesecontributionswillbeofgreatvaluebothtoresearchersandtograduate studentsinthefieldandinphilosophymorebroadly.Inordertomakethebook moreusefultothosewhoarenotfamiliarwithallthedebatesinthephilosophy oflogic,wehavewrittenanintroductiontocurrentresearchtrends,outliningthe majorargumentsinthelastcoupleofdecades.Alongthewaywegiveindications ofhowtheessaysinthevolumecontributetothesedebates.
