Originally from the Cantal, Marie-Hélène Lafon is a French literature professor in Paris. All of her novels, including L’ANNONCE (2009) and LES PAYS (2012) have been published by Buchet Chastel. Marie-Hélène Lafon’s first novel, Le Soir du Chien (2001) was short-listed for the Renaudot Prize and won the Lycéens Renaudot Prize. Les Pays won the Prize of Style in 2012.
