Government directives require that every workstation in the government A have E-mail by the end of 1996. major challenge is to establish standards and procedures that will accommodate this requirement. In the interim, Internet is becoming the standard. Overall office automation is a priority item with many agencies and E- mail is but one part ofthis activity.
