Despite the economic context, however, continued enhancements to resort offerings enabled the group to drive guest satisfaction and increase guest spending in order to help mitigate the impact of reduced theme park attendance and hotel occupancy. The group showed resilience within that context, with total revenues declining only 1% to €1.3 billion in 2013. Marketing and sales initiatives will continue across all markets, and particularly in growth areas such as the United Kingdom and Germany.
