This won't be an exhaustive study of the subject, but I'd just like to teach a few practical doctrines concerning demons (i.e., fallen angels). We read in Matthew 12:43-45 . . . “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” This is a truly amazing passage of Scripture. Why do demons walk in “dry places”? It's because that's where humans live. It is evident to me from these Scriptures that there are more demons than victims, for the Bible says this demon had a difficult time finding a body to possess. Thus, we see the vulnerability of those who open themselves up to demonic possession. There are demons waiting in line to move into the body of those who are unsaved and vulnerable. Understanding this truth, it now becomes clear why Satan and demons desire to see Americans increasingly dabble with alcohol and drug abuse, listen to Rock 'N' Roll music and indulge in occult practices—all of which OPEN DOORS TO SATAN!!! If 6,000 devils can all live in one man's body, just imagine how many devils are available for the rest of humanity. [emphasis added] And you'd better believe it young person... Satan has a devil put aside JUST FOR YOU!!! The unsaved and blasphemous religious Pharisees wrongly accused Jesus of being demon-possessed. They are burning in Hell this moment, and will continue to burn forever to pay for there own sins, having rejected the free gift of eternal life by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Notice that Beelzebub is Satan, the prince of the devils. Matthew 12:24, “But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.” Satan desires to possess, control and destroy you. Please read the chapter titled, “ANGELOLOGY,” from Dr. Mark G. Cambron's excellent book, “BIBLE DOCTRINES” (.pdf format). Now if you're a born-again Christian, then you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you (Romans 8:9) and cannot be demon-possessed, but YOU CAN be demon-influenced if you subject yourself to demonic forms of media like smutty magazines, worldly philosophies, TV, Rock and Country music, psychologists and psychiatrists, alcohol, drugs or anything that opens doors to the spirit world. As born-again Christians we must be aware of, and avoid, DOORS TO SATAN. So many believers give Satan a baseball bat to hit them with. Satan can afflict you if God permits it from without, but you can only be spiritually destroyed from within, by incrementally subjecting yourself to satanic influences. Behind every tragedy in human character is a slow process of wicked thinking. The subject of demonology is very important to learn, because you and I need to know who our enemy is. Every human being has three enemies; namely, the Devil, the world and the flesh. Of these three, the flesh is the most deadly, because we live with the flesh 24 hours a day, continually. Satan knows this, so his goal is to influence people to live for the satisfying and pleasures of the flesh. Rock music appeals to the flesh. Lewd images, sensuality and immodest clothing appeal to the flesh. Satan loves Hollywood! One of the most common avenues of demon-possession is alcohol and drug abuse. In fact, the Old Testament Hebrew word for “sorcerer” is the same root word from which we get the modern term “pharmacy.” Demons, drugs and alcohol are synonymous, just ask any woman who's ever been addicted to heroine or cocaine, who prostitutes herself out to three or four dozen whoremongers each night to make $1,000, to support her drug addiction habit. Satan doesn't show you that when he makes drug abuse look so fun on television. Oh, but you need to know my friends, that Jesus died for prostitutes, whoremongers and homosexuals. The answer is not rehabilitation, reformation, nor education; but regeneration through faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.” Let me tell you something, the weakest Christian is stronger than the most powerful demon, because of the Savior, not because of our self (1st John 4:4). If you research the matter, you will find that in every case demon-possession, some type of substance abuse is almost always involved. Hundreds of mainstream Rock music singers, Hollywood actors and worldly entertainers have testified that they were possessed by devils while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or some type of substance abuse. Case in point is Rock legend SANTANA, who has publicly said that he receives his musical inspiration from a demon named Metatron. Danny Castle—Exposing Lil Wayne, Kanye West, SpongeBob TV, Katy Perry And Hollywood Rihanna S&M Exposed! Katy Perry, Jessie J, And Kesha?! Kesha Exposed! Totally Satanic! The Answer is Not Reformation Nor Rehabilitation, But Regeneration Carefully notice in Matthew 12:44-45 what the Bible teaches concerning demonic possession, the futility of rehabilitation and enslavement to sin... “Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” We see several Biblical truths presented here: First, an unsaved person who is ignorant of the Scriptures and worldly is vulnerable to Satan. The Bible says the demon came back to the struggling addict and found his soul EMPTY. The Holy Spirit of God lives within the body of the believer, and so it is not empty. The first step to overcoming addiction and demon- possession is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as one's Savior from the curse and stronghold of sin. The Bible says the demon came back to the struggling addict and found his soul SWEPT. This is education, reformation and rehabilitation, which cannot substitute regeneration (being born-again). The Word of God is the Sword by which we can defeat Satan in our lives (Ephesians 6:17). The Word of God is the Seed by which we are born-again (1st Peter 1:23). The demon comes back and finds his former dwelling place decorated and ready to move in. This is worldliness. The person whose soul loves the sinful world is a demon's delight. Second, the demon brings additional spirits with him that are more wicked than himself. Thus: Some demons are more wicked than others. Evidently the first demon was upset that he was evicted, which is the addict trying to clean up their life, and now the demon wants to reclaim his territory with a vengeance. Satan hates losing! Demons are sore losers! By bringing more demons, it will be much harder to break the addiction, which is exactly what the Bible teaches... “and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” This is addiction to sin, enslavement and bondage. 2nd Peter 2:19b, “For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” Demons often return to their former victims. It is important to understand that once a person has had demons in their life, those demons will target that person and keep coming back until that soul is delivered by the transforming power of the Gospel and obedience to the Word of God. The Bible teaches in Matthew 12:43 that demons get frustrated, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.” The Bible does not mean physical rest for demons from labor; but rather, the contentment that a demon finds from having a home, a human body, to dwell in. Just as every person desires to have “a place to call home,” so it is with demons. A demon without a human body to dwell in is like a bird without a nest or a fox without a hole. It is very interesting, and evil, that the author of The Golden Compass, portrays children in the movie as being sick because they've lost their demon. The word demon is mentioned over 50-times throughout this children's movie. It is utterly evil. Many books have been written concerning demons and the Bible. As believers, we shouldn't fear demons; but rather, God who reigns supreme over the universe. The Bible teaches us to submit our self to God before we try to resist the Devil. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Satan is a defeated being and his days are numbered. However, the unsaved are greatly at risk of demon-possession... Acts 19:14-16, “And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house 4 of 19 3/24/2021, 1:56 AM DEMONOLOGY http://www.jesusisprecious.org/fundamentals/demonology.htm naked and wounded.” Notice that the young men ended up naked and wounded. Nudity, insanity, masochism, sadism and transgendered tendencies are all inherent to demonism. We hear of many young people these days self-mutilating themselves, piercing various body parts of their body (including their genitals), receiving tattoos from head-to-toe, and scaring of the body as a form of so-called art (called “scarification”). It is demonic in nature. Shameful “tramp stamps” (a tattoo above the buttocks) are common on women these days. It is wickedness! Satan's primary goal is to hinder you from doing God's will . . . “It occurs to me it is not so much the aim of the devil to lure me with evil as it is to preoccupy me with the meaningless.” ―Donald Miller Demons Are Evil Spirits Revelation 16:13-14, “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” Notice in Revelation 16:13-14 the Devil's imitation of the Godhead. The Bible mentions the Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet. An evil spirit (demon) proceeds forth from each of these to gather the wicked kings of the earth to the Battle of Armageddon (Megiddo in Israel). This battle concludes the Tribulation period when the Lord returns to put down the Antichrist (the Beast) and the False Prophet and the Dragon (Satan himself, Revelation 20:2). Present-day Israel is a Satan's counterfeit, waiting for the Antichrist (their counterfeit messiah), to reign over the New World Order (the Antichrist's counterfeit kingdom). The true Messiah is Jesus Christ, Who will literally reign upon the throne of David from Jerusalem over the earth, beginning at His Second Coming after the 7-year Tribulation period. Beware of Satan's Zionist counterfeits today! There is a demonic attack happening today across America. Demonic influences absolutely saturate American society, from homosexual Hollywood to Sin City Las Vegas. Rock music and TV diminish the awfulness of sin. American culture idolizes the music of Ozzy Osbourne, Katy Perry, Lecrae, Justin Bieber, Billy Idol, Madonna, Eminem, Van Halen and other demonic singers and bands. It is a shame to hear a high school orchestra playing “JUMP” by Van Halen. Dolly Parton sang Led Zeppelin's occultic “STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN” on her album. Johnny Cash sang “13” by hardcore Satanist Glen Danzig. Demons look for human weakness and vulnerability. Alcohol and drugs are popular mediums through which demons (evil spirits) are able to infiltrate a person's soul and corrupt their behavior. Some of the most heinous crimes ever committed were done by drunkards. My friend, you can't take two drinks if you don't take the first. That's good advice for young people. The philosophy of not drinking and driving is insane. The truth is that there is no law in America against drinking and driving. The law only punishes alcoholics if their BAC (blood alcohol content) is higher than .08 (eight hundredths). Most companies fire an employee at .01 BAC; yet America's corrupt legal system allows drivers on the road at .06 and .07 legally. Many deadly accidents involved alcohol impaired drivers which do not exceed the .08 BAC. Demons love beer drinkers! What Michael Jackson did to himself is nothing less than demonic. Michael Jackson was and is idolized by his fans as a singing god. Not surprisingly, Jackson's music is highly favored amongst gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexuals worldwide. Jackson's life and career went from being that of a popular young black entertainer to a nightmarish freak show. Lisa Marie Presley stated on MySpace after Jackson's death that during their marriage Michael saw “awful vampires and leeches” around her. I am not trying to be unkind in any way, truly, but Satan wants to destroy all of us. Jesus even told Peter, one of His Apostles, that "Satan hath desired to have you . . . that he may sift you as wheat" (Luke 22:31). Saved or unsaved, Satan wants to have you and destroy your life! A common denominator between the occult, witchcraft (whether Celtic or Wiccan) and Satanism are sexual sins and nudity. When Peter was fishing naked and then saw Jesus, he immediately grabbed his fisherman's coat and jumped into the sea (John 21:7). Jesus is the cure for nudity. Luke 8:35, “Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.” Amen! Even those possessed of demons come into their right mind when they trustingly sit at the feet of Jesus their Savior. No demonic power on earth can prevent the salvation of a soul or the mending of a broken man when childlike faith is present in Jesus Christ. 1st John 4:4 teaches, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” That Scripture is only true concerning the saved believer, whose sins have been taken away by the precious blood of Jesus. Although a born-again Christian cannot be demon-possessed so-to-speak, they CAN BE demon influenced. A demon cannot reside in the temple of the Holy Spirit (which is the body of the believer according to 1st Corinthians 3:17). However, Christians who dabble in Rock 'N' Roll, fornication, pornography and alcoholic beverages are opening themselves up to demonic influences. 6 of 19 3/24/2021, 1:56 AM DEMONOLOGY http://www.jesusisprecious.org/fundamentals/demonology.htm Demons And The Entertainment Industry It is disturbing that many Christians are naive concerning the demonic influences that some of the Devil's children openly admit. Take Carlos Santana for example, who admits having his own personal demonic god, Metatron. Here is a disturbing excerpt from Rolling Stone magazine... "Metatron is an angel. Santana has been in regular contact with him since 1994. Carlos will sit here facing the wall, the candles lit. He has a yellow legal pad at one side, ready for the communications that will come. 'It's kind of like a fax machine,' he says." Demons don't usually make people jump into fires or run nude down the street. Most often, demonic influences lead people into sin, which destroys the person's life. In some cases, demons can cause a person like Hitler to murder millions of innocent people. Hitler was deeply involved in the occult. Certainly, there is a demonic spirit behind the abortion industry, who sell the parts of aborted babies for a profit. In fact, elite women are paying thousands of dollars for beauty treatments made from aborted foetuses. Aborted foetuses from girls and young women are being exported from Ukraine for use in illegal beauty treatments costing thousands of pounds. That is Satan at work. It was demonic possession which influenced Herod to murder thousands of babies in an attempt to kill the Lord Jesus Christ. Our society today is saturated with demonic influences. When Peter tried to prevent Jesus from going to the cross, Jesus called him Satan. Jesus said that Judas was a devil (John 6:70). Demonology isn't just some cute doctrine that's interesting. Demons are literal spirit beings—malicious and malignant in every way—showing mankind no mercy, no love and no concern. Hollywood is a demonic-inspired cesspool of iniquity. Demons are evil. There are no good demons, which is why they are called devils. What is it that makes men so evil? Yes, it is the wicked sin nature of man (Jeremiah 17:9); but when men sellout to do evil, demons will guide them via occult influences, worldly philosophies, false religion and other means. Nancy Reagan (wife of U.S. President Reagan) brought psychics and séances into The White House, as did Eleanor Roosevelt, Hillary Clinton and Abraham Lincoln's wife. There are only two sources of SPIRITUAL guidance, power and wisdom—God or Satan! So it's easy to identify Satan at work, because any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit is a familiar spirit (demon). A book could be written concerning demonic influences amongst celebrities, the wealthy and the famous. Satan offered Jesus worldly prosperity in exchange for worship, but the Lord refused and quoted the Bible to defeat the Devil (Matthew 4:9-10). It seems that everyone these days has taken Satan up on his offer. The Bible confirms that this evil world's god is the Devil (2nd Corinthians 4:4); but the earth itself and everything therein belongs to the Lord (1st Corinthians 10:26). God owns the land. God owns the trees. God owns the rivers. When men destroy the earth, they are destroying God's property (and He's angry about it, Revelation 11:18). Demonic spirits are prevalent in the music industry—this includes everything from Rock Music and Country to Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). Sexual immorality, lasciviousness, lesbianism and lewdness are epidemic throughout the music industry's videos. Carrie Underwood has sold-out to Satan, joining together with Steve Tyler of Aerosmith to produce the sex-smut GOOD GIRL video. Demons are spirits and influence the spirit of humans. Animals have a soul, but not a spirit. Only man has a spirit, created after the likeness of God. Man's spirit gives him the ability for intelligence, art, love and forgiveness; whereas animals only have basic impulses and primitive thought processes. Hollywood's Satanic Agenda (1:28 hour documentary exposing the occult roots of Hollywood) Many secular singers, actors and musicians have testified of familiar spirits and powers that shaped their performance. Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin claims that he penned Stairway To Heaven in just 15-minutes by some external force. Ozzy Osbourne has attributed his works to Satan. ACDC's Angus Young has testified to demonic powers that control his guitar playing in concert. Satan's Kingdom Is A Hierarchy Of Structured Power Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The Bible instructs Christians that our battle in this world is not against flesh and blood. Very few Christians live like they believe this truth. To the same degree that you are concerned about lost souls and are trying to get people saved, to that same degree you truly believe that Hell exists and that we wrestle against the forces of Satan. TEARS IN HEAVEN (MP3 clip from sermon by Evangelist Phil Kidd) Demons are under orders from the Prince Of The Power Of The Air (Satan). Ephesians 2:2, “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.” The children of disobedience are all Christ-rejecters —those people who have not obeyed the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9). Demonic forces operate through occult organizations. Symbols 8 of 19 3/24/2021, 1:56 AM DEMONOLOGY http://www.jesusisprecious.org/fundamentals/demonology.htm are very important to occultists and will play a major role in the realm of the Antichrist, just as Nebuchadnezzar's golden image (obelisk) did in the kingdom of Babylon. Occult Symbols in Washington DC. How Many Angels Are There? Revelation 5:11, “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.” This passage of Scripture would seem to indicate that there are 10,000 times 10,000 angels = 100,000,000!!! Wow! And then “thousands of thousands” in addition. We are told that one-third of the angels were cast out of Heaven down to earth. Revelation 12:4, “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” Angels are often referred to as “stars” in the Scriptures. Revelation 1:20, “...The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches...” The following facts are very interesting, but I don't think they mean anything of significance as regards the number 666. The fraction 1/3 expressed as a decimal is .333. The remaining 2/3 of the angels in Heaven would be .666 in percentage of the total angels. If there are 100,000,000 angels, then 33,333,333 are demons (fallen angels) and 66,666,666 are good angels. If we add 33,333,333 and 66,666,666 we get 99,999,999. Satan is the final missing angel, giving us a final tally of 100,000,000 angels. Again, personally I don't think this means anything of significance as concerns 666, but I thought it was worthy of mention. Interesting Facts About Angels, Lucifer and Demons There are some drastic differences in the Holy Bible between angels and demons. One of the biggest distinctions is that demons NEVER appear in their own body. Angels always appear, having their own physical body, looking like men. The two angels who came to Lot's house in Genesis feasted with Lot. They looked like normal men. They ate food and drank beverages. Angels eat in Heaven still today, millions of them!!! If angels ate at Lot's house, then they have the ability and need to eat. This evidences that Heaven is not just a spiritual place, but also a physical place. God sits on a literal, physical, throne. And I believe the saints in Heaven have some form of physical body, waiting their glorified body at the Rapture (Philippians 3:21). Demons always need either a human or animal body to posses. We learn in Mark 5:11-12 that Jesus allowed the thousands of devils possessing one man to flee into a herd of pigs, who all commit HOGACIDE! They ran down the hill and drowned in the sea. The local town folks of Gadarene valued money more than the Son of God, so they came together and asked Jesus to leave and not return! Can you imagine? That is just like many churches today, who ask Jesus to leave with His King James Bible, lest they lose financial support from apostate church members. Now the following is speculation, not necessarily Biblical, but it's what I believe. I believe that the angels under Lucifer had physical bodies prior to their fall. Lucifer rebelled against God (Isaiah 14:12-16 - King James Bible. Modern corrupt Bible versions completely remove Lucifer and this important doctrinal passage). When Lucifer rebelled, seeking equality with God, one-third of the angels (often called “stars”) followed him. Revelation 12:4, “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” The Scripture you just read clearly teaches that Satan (who is the Dragon according to Revelation 20:2) drew one-third of the stars (“angels” according to Revelation 1:20, “The seven stars are the angels...”) away from God. Now Jeremiah 4:23-26 are nothing less than fascinating, teaching that God in His fierce anger destroyed the cities of the earth, and rendered the earth without form and void (see Genesis 1:1-2). When did God do this in the Bible? I believe that Lucifer and his angels lived here upon the earth prior to the creation of Adam and mankind. I believe the Bible teaches an Old Earth. It is ridiculous to believe and teach that dinosaurs roamed the earth 5,000 years ago. It is much easier to refute a Young Earth Theory than it is to disprove an Old Earth, because legitimate science supports an Old Earth. Many unsaved people (like actor Matt Damon) are turned off to Christianity because of the insane dinosaur theories of Young Earth advocates. I believe that when God destroyed the earth that the fallen angels lost their physical bodies. Their spirits remained. Thus, they continually seek a living host to inhabit. We learn from Mark 5:9 that the demons told Jesus that their name is “legion,” because they are many. A “legion” means 6,000 in quantity. As I said, this is speculation and I would not argue the point. I do stand 100% firm on an Old Earth position though, because that is verifiable in the Scriptures. What I have just shared with you explains why angels have bodies, but demons do not. I am convinced it is accurate. Angels can enjoy eating in their own body, but demons cannot, so fallen angels attempt to live in a surrogate body to commit all manner of wickedness, because they are evil in nature. This won't be an exhaustive study of the subject, but I'd just like to teach a few practical doctrines concerning demons (i.e., fallen angels). We read in Matthew 12:43-45 . . . “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” This is a truly amazing passage of Scripture. Why do demons walk in “dry places”? It's because that's where humans live. It is evident to me from these Scriptures that there are more demons than victims, for the Bible says this demon had a difficult time finding a body to possess. Thus, we see the vulnerability of those who open themselves up to demonic possession. There are demons waiting in line to move into the body of those who are unsaved and vulnerable. Understanding this truth, it now becomes clear why Satan and demons desire to see Americans increasingly dabble with alcohol and drug abuse, listen to Rock 'N' Roll music and indulge in occult practices—all of which OPEN DOORS TO SATAN!!! If 6,000 devils can all live in one man's body, just imagine how many devils are available for the rest of humanity. The unsaved and blasphemous religious Pharisees wrongly accused Jesus of being demon-possessed. They are burning in Hell this moment, and will continue to burn forever to pay for there own sins, having rejected the free gift of eternal life by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Notice that Beelzebub is Satan, the prince of the devils. Matthew 12:24, “But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.” Satan desires to possess, control and destroy you. Please read the chapter titled, “ANGELOLOGY,” from Dr. Mark G. Cambron's excellent book, “BIBLE DOCTRINES” (.pdf format). Now if you're a born-again Christian, then you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you (Romans 8:9) and cannot be demon-possessed, but YOU CAN be demon-influenced if you subject yourself to demonic forms of media like smutty magazines, worldly philosophies, TV, Rock and Country music, psychologists and psychiatrists, alcohol, drugs or anything that opens doors to the spirit world. As born-again Christians we must be aware of, and avoid, DOORS TO SATAN. So many believers give Satan a baseball bat to hit them with. Satan can afflict you if God permits it from without, but you can only be spiritually destroyed from within, by incrementally subjecting yourself to satanic influences. Behind every tragedy in human character is a slow process of wicked thinking. The subject of demonology is very important to learn, because you and I need to know who our enemy is. Every human being has three enemies; namely, the Devil, the world and the flesh. Of these three, the flesh is the most deadly, because we live with the flesh 24 hours a day, continually. Satan knows this, so his goal is to influence people to live for the satisfying and pleasures of the flesh. Rock music appeals to the flesh. Lewd images, sensuality and immodest clothing appeal to the flesh. Satan loves Hollywood! One of the most common avenues of demon-possession is alcohol and drug abuse. In fact, the Old Testament Hebrew word for “sorcerer” is the same root word from which we get the modern term “pharmacy.” Demons, drugs and alcohol are synonymous, just ask any woman who's ever been addicted to heroine or cocaine, who prostitutes herself out to three or four dozen whoremongers each night to make $1,000, to support her drug addiction habit. Satan doesn't show you that when he makes drug abuse look so fun on television. Oh, but you need to know my friends, that Jesus died for prostitutes, whoremongers and homosexuals. The answer is not rehabilitation, reformation, nor education; but regeneration through faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.” Let me tell you something, the weakest Christian is stronger than the most powerful demon, because of the Savior, not because of our self (1st John 4:4). If you research the matter, you will find that in every case demon-possession, some type of substance abuse is almost always involved. Hundreds of mainstream Rock music singers, Hollywood actors and worldly entertainers have testified that they were possessed by devils while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or some type of substance abuse. Case in point is Rock legend SANTANA, who has publicly said that he receives his musical inspiration from a demon named Metatron. Danny Castle—Exposing Lil Wayne, Kanye West, SpongeBob TV, Katy Perry And Hollywood Rihanna S&M Exposed! Katy Perry, Jessie J, And Kesha?! Kesha Exposed! Totally Satanic! The Answer is Not Reformation Nor Rehabilitation, But Regeneration Carefully notice in Matthew 12:44-45 what the Bible teaches concerning demonic possession, the futility of rehabilitation and enslavement to sin... “Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” We see several Biblical truths presented here: First, an unsaved person who is ignorant of the Scriptures and worldly is vulnerable to Satan. The Bible says the demon came back to the struggling addict and found his soul EMPTY. The Holy Spirit of God lives within the body of the believer, and so it is not empty. The first step to overcoming addiction and demon- possession is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as one's Savior from the curse and stronghold of sin. The Bible says the demon came back to the struggling addict and found his soul SWEPT. This is education, reformation and rehabilitation, which cannot substitute regeneration (being born-again). The Word of God is the Sword by which we can defeat Satan in our lives (Ephesians 6:17). The Word of God is the Seed by which we are born-again (1st Peter 1:23). The demon comes back and finds his former dwelling place decorated and ready to move in. This is worldliness. The person whose soul loves the sinful world is a demon's delight. Second, the demon brings additional spirits with him that are more wicked than himself. Thus: Some demons are more wicked than others. Evidently the first demon was upset that he was evicted, which is the addict trying to clean up their life, and now the demon wants to reclaim his territory with a vengeance. Satan hates losing! Demons are sore losers! By bringing more demons, it will be much harder to break the addiction, which is exactly what the Bible teaches... “and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” This is addiction to sin, enslavement and bondage. 2nd Peter 2:19b, “For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” Demons often return to their former victims. It is important to understand that once a person has had demons in their life, those demons will target that person and keep coming back until that soul is delivered by the transforming power of the Gospel and obedience to the Word of God. The Bible teaches in Matthew 12:43 that demons get frustrated, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.” The Bible does not mean physical rest for demons from labor; but rather, the contentment that a demon finds from having a home, a human body, to dwell in. Just as every person desires to have “a place to call home,” so it is with demons. A demon without a human body to dwell in is like a bird without a nest or a fox without a hole. It is very interesting, and evil, that the author of The Golden Compass, portrays children in the movie as being sick because they've lost their demon. The word demon is mentioned over 50-times throughout this children's movie. It is utterly evil. Many books have been written concerning demons and the Bible. As believers, we shouldn't fear demons; but rather, God who reigns supreme over the universe. The Bible teaches us to submit our self to God before we try to resist the Devil. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Satan is a defeated being and his days are numbered. However, the unsaved are greatly at risk of demon-possession... Acts 19:14-16, “And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? Nudity, insanity, masochism, sadism and transgendered tendencies are all inherent to demonism. We hear of many young people these days self-mutilating themselves, piercing various body parts of their body (including their genitals), receiving tattoos from head-to-toe, and scaring of the body as a form of so-called art (called “scarification”). It is demonic in nature. Shameful “tramp stamps” (a tattoo above the buttocks) are common on women these days. It is wickedness! Satan's primary goal is to hinder you from doing God's will . . . “It occurs to me it is not so much the aim of the devil to lure me with evil as it is to preoccupy me with the meaningless.” ―Donald Miller Demons Are Evil Spirits Revelation 16:13-14, “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” Notice in Revelation 16:13-14 the Devil's imitation of the Godhead. The Bible mentions the Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet. An evil spirit (demon) proceeds forth from each of these to gather the wicked kings of the earth to the Battle of Armageddon (Megiddo in Israel). This battle concludes the Tribulation period when the Lord returns to put down the Antichrist (the Beast) and the False Prophet and the Dragon (Satan himself, Revelation 20:2). Present-day Israel is a Satan's counterfeit, waiting for the Antichrist (their counterfeit messiah), to reign over the New World Order (the Antichrist's counterfeit kingdom). The true Messiah is Jesus Christ, Who will literally reign upon the throne of David from Jerusalem over the earth, beginning at His Second Coming after the 7-year Tribulation period. Beware of Satan's Zionist counterfeits today! There is a demonic attack happening today across America. Demonic influences absolutely saturate American society, from homosexual Hollywood to Sin City Las Vegas. Rock music and TV diminish the awfulness of sin. American culture idolizes the music of Ozzy Osbourne, Katy Perry, Lecrae, Justin Bieber, Billy Idol, Madonna, Eminem, Van Halen and other demonic singers and bands. It is a shame to hear a high school orchestra playing “JUMP” by Van Halen. Dolly Parton sang Led Zeppelin's occultic “STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN” on her album. Johnny Cash sang “13” by hardcore Satanist Glen Danzig. Demons look for human weakness and vulnerability. Alcohol and drugs are popular mediums through which demons (evil spirits) are able to infiltrate a person's soul and corrupt their behavior. Some of the most heinous crimes ever committed were done by drunkards. My friend, you can't take two drinks if you don't take the first. That's good advice for young people. The philosophy of not drinking and driving is insane. The truth is that there is no law in America against drinking and driving. The law only punishes alcoholics if their BAC (blood alcohol content) is higher than .08 (eight hundredths). Most companies fire an employee at .01 BAC; yet America's corrupt legal system allows drivers on the road at .06 and .07 legally. Many deadly accidents involved alcohol impaired drivers which do not exceed the .08 BAC. Demons love beer drinkers! What Michael Jackson did to himself is nothing less than demonic. Michael Jackson was and is idolized by his fans as a singing god. Not surprisingly, Jackson's music is highly favored amongst gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexuals worldwide. Jackson's life and career went from being that of a popular young black entertainer to a nightmarish freak show. Lisa Marie Presley stated on MySpace after Jackson's death that during their marriage Michael saw “awful vampires and leeches” around her. I am not trying to be unkind in any way, truly, but Satan wants to destroy all of us. Jesus even told Peter, one of His Apostles, that "Satan hath desired to have you . . . that he may sift you as wheat" (Luke 22:31). Saved or unsaved, Satan wants to have you and destroy your life! A common denominator between the occult, witchcraft (whether Celtic or Wiccan) and Satanism are sexual sins and nudity. When Peter was fishing naked and then saw Jesus, he immediately grabbed his fisherman's coat and jumped into the sea (John 21:7). Jesus is the cure for nudity. Luke 8:35, “Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.” Amen! Even those possessed of demons come into their right mind when they trustingly sit at the feet of Jesus their Savior. No demonic power on earth can prevent the salvation of a soul or the mending of a broken man when childlike faith is present in Jesus Christ. 1st John 4:4 teaches, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” That Scripture is only true concerning the saved believer, whose sins have been taken away by the precious blood of Jesus. Although a born-again Christian cannot be demon-possessed so-to-speak, they CAN BE demon influenced. A demon cannot reside in the temple of the Holy Spirit (which is the body of the believer according to 1st Corinthians 3:17). Take Carlos Santana for example, who admits having his own personal demonic god, Metatron. Here is a disturbing excerpt from Rolling Stone magazine... "Metatron is an angel. Santana has been in regular contact with him since 1994. Carlos will sit here facing the wall, the candles lit. He has a yellow legal pad at one side, ready for the communications that will come. 'It's kind of like a fax machine,' he says." Demons don't usually make people jump into fires or run nude down the street. Most often, demonic influences lead people into sin, which destroys the person's life. In some cases, demons can cause a person like Hitler to murder millions of innocent people. Hitler was deeply involved in the occult. Certainly, there is a demonic spirit behind the abortion industry, who sell the parts of aborted babies for a profit. In fact, elite women are paying thousands of dollars for beauty treatments made from aborted foetuses. Aborted foetuses from girls and young women are being exported from Ukraine for use in illegal beauty treatments costing thousands of pounds. That is Satan at work. It was demonic possession which influenced Herod to murder thousands of babies in an attempt to kill the Lord Jesus Christ. Our society today is saturated with demonic influences. When Peter tried to prevent Jesus from going to the cross, Jesus called him Satan. Jesus said that Judas was a devil (John 6:70). Demonology isn't just some cute doctrine that's interesting. Demons are literal spirit beings—malicious and malignant in every way—showing mankind no mercy, no love and no concern. Hollywood is a demonic-inspired cesspool of iniquity. Demons are evil. There are no good demons, which is why they are called devils. What is it that makes men so evil? Yes, it is the wicked sin nature of man (Jeremiah 17:9); but when men sellout to do evil, demons will guide them via occult influences, worldly philosophies, false religion and other means. Nancy Reagan (wife of U.S. President Reagan) brought psychics and séances into The White House, as did Eleanor Roosevelt, Hillary Clinton and Abraham Lincoln's wife. There are only two sources of SPIRITUAL guidance, power and wisdom—God or Satan! So it's easy to identify Satan at work, because any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit is a familiar spirit (demon). A book could be written concerning demonic influences amongst celebrities, the wealthy and the famous. Satan offered Jesus worldly prosperity in exchange for worship, but the Lord refused and quoted the Bible to defeat the Devil (Matthew 4:9-10). It seems that everyone these days has taken Satan up on his offer. The Bible confirms that this evil world's god is the Devil (2nd Corinthians 4:4); but the earth itself and everything therein belongs to the Lord (1st Corinthians 10:26). God owns the land. God owns the trees. God owns the rivers. When men destroy the earth, they are destroying God's property (and He's angry about it, Revelation 11:18). Demonic spirits are prevalent in the music industry—this includes everything from Rock Music and Country to Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). Sexual immorality, lasciviousness, lesbianism and lewdness are epidemic throughout the music industry's videos. Carrie Underwood has sold-out to Satan, joining together with Steve Tyler of Aerosmith to produce the sex-smut GOOD GIRL video. Demons are spirits and influence the spirit of humans. Animals have a soul, but not a spirit. Only man has a spirit, created after the likeness of God. Man's spirit gives him the ability for intelligence, art, love and forgiveness; whereas animals only have basic impulses and primitive thought processes. Hollywood's Satanic Agenda (1:28 hour documentary exposing the occult roots of Hollywood) Many secular singers, actors and musicians have testified of familiar spirits and powers that shaped their performance. Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin claims that he penned Stairway To Heaven in just 15-minutes by some external force. Ozzy Osbourne has attributed his works to Satan. ACDC's Angus Young has testified to demonic powers that control his guitar playing in concert. Satan's Kingdom Is A Hierarchy Of Structured Power Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The Bible instructs Christians that our battle in this world is not against flesh and blood. Very few Christians live like they believe this truth. To the same degree that you are concerned about lost souls and are trying to get people saved, to that same degree you truly believe that Hell exists and that we wrestle against the forces of Satan. TEARS IN HEAVEN (MP3 clip from sermon by Evangelist Phil Kidd) Demons are under orders from the Prince Of The Power Of The Air (Satan). Ephesians 2:2, “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.” The children of disobedience are all Christ-rejecters —those people who have not obeyed the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9). Demonic forces operate through occult organizations. Occult Symbols in Washington DC. How Many Angels Are There? Revelation 5:11, “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.” This passage of Scripture would seem to indicate that there are 10,000 times 10,000 angels = 100,000,000!!! Wow! And then “thousands of thousands” in addition. We are told that one-third of the angels were cast out of Heaven down to earth. Revelation 12:4, “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” Angels are often referred to as “stars” in the Scriptures. Revelation 1:20, “...The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches...” The following facts are very interesting, but I don't think they mean anything of significance as regards the number 666. The fraction 1/3 expressed as a decimal is .333. The remaining 2/3 of the angels in Heaven would be .666 in percentage of the total angels. If there are 100,000,000 angels, then 33,333,333 are demons (fallen angels) and 66,666,666 are good angels. If we add 33,333,333 and 66,666,666 we get 99,999,999. Satan is the final missing angel, giving us a final tally of 100,000,000 angels. Again, personally I don't think this means anything of significance as concerns 666, but I thought it was worthy of mention. Interesting Facts About Angels, Lucifer and Demons There are some drastic differences in the Holy Bible between angels and demons. One of the biggest distinctions is that demons NEVER appear in their own body. Angels always appear, having their own physical body, looking like men. The two angels who came to Lot's house in Genesis feasted with Lot. They looked like normal men. They ate food and drank beverages. Angels eat in Heaven still today, millions of them!!! If angels ate at Lot's house, then they have the ability and need to eat. This evidences that Heaven is not just a spiritual place, but also a physical place. God sits on a literal, physical, throne. And I believe the saints in Heaven have some form of physical body, waiting their glorified body at the Rapture (Philippians 3:21). Demons always need either a human or animal body to posses. We learn in Mark 5:11-12 that Jesus allowed the thousands of devils possessing one man to flee into a herd of pigs, who all commit HOGACIDE! They ran down the hill and drowned in the sea. The local town folks of Gadarene valued money more than the Son of God, so they came together and asked Jesus to leave and not return! Can you imagine? That is just like many churches today, who ask Jesus to leave with His King James Bible, lest they lose financial support from apostate church members. Now the following is speculation, not necessarily Biblical, but it's what I believe. I believe that the angels under Lucifer had physical bodies prior to their fall. Lucifer rebelled against God (Isaiah 14:12-16 - King James Bible. Modern corrupt Bible versions completely remove Lucifer and this important doctrinal passage). When Lucifer rebelled, seeking equality with God, one-third of the angels (often called “stars”) followed him. Revelation 12:4, “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” The Scripture you just read clearly teaches that Satan (who is the Dragon according to Revelation 20:2) drew one-third of the stars (“angels” according to Revelation 1:20, “The seven stars are the angels...”) away from God. Now Jeremiah 4:23-26 are nothing less than fascinating, teaching that God in His fierce anger destroyed the cities of the earth, and rendered the earth without form and void (see Genesis 1:1-2). When did God do this in the Bible? I believe that Lucifer and his angels lived here upon the earth prior to the creation of Adam and mankind. I believe the Bible teaches an Old Earth. It is ridiculous to believe and teach that dinosaurs roamed the earth 5,000 years ago. It is much easier to refute a Young Earth Theory than it is to disprove an Old Earth, because legitimate science supports an Old Earth. Many unsaved people (like actor Matt Damon) are turned off to Christianity because of the insane dinosaur theories of Young Earth advocates. I believe that when God destroyed the earth that the fallen angels lost their physical bodies. Their spirits remained. Thus, they continually seek a living host to inhabit. We learn from Mark 5:9 that the demons told Jesus that their name is “legion,” because they are many. A “legion” means 6,000 in quantity. As I said, this is speculation and I would not argue the point. I do stand 100% firm on an Old Earth position though, because that is verifiable in the Scriptures. What I have just shared with you explains why angels have bodies, but demons do not. I am convinced it is accurate. Angels can enjoy eating in their own body, but demons cannot, so fallen angels attempt to live in a surrogate body to commit all manner of wickedness, because they are evil in nature.
