Gonioscopy is a technique of examination of the iridocorneal angle of the eye. It is a critical portion of the examination of all patients, particularly those with glaucoma. It is a part of the eye examination which is extremely difficult for trainees to learn. Some older practitioners have never become expert in gonioscopic techniques. This atlas presents all aspects of the technique from the basic sciences through the principles, examination techniques and interpretation of findings.
