Description:Not the Paladin Press reprint, but a scan of the Leatherneck Magazine original:
Amazon review:The
book starts with bayonet fighting, then knife, empty hand, and knife
throwing. My interest was in the empty hand combat, which is the reason
why I bought the book. While not a complete system of hand to hand
combat, it offers valuable techniques and strategies.
It teaches
"wheeling" attacks, which involve using the twisting of the torso and
the shifting of body weight to generate powerful knife hand, hammer
fist, and elbow strikes, and to set up follow up strikes. It also
teaches which targets to strike and how to develop a confident attitude
toward hand to hand combat. The black and white photographs are large
and clear; the explanations are easy to understand.
