AmongPseudachorutinae,Cephalachorutesgen. n. shares withArlesia Handschin, 1942 and Pseu- dachorutellaStach, 1949(sensuMassoud 1967)the following characters: postantennal organ absent, maxilla styliform, and mucrodens well developed. Like the species of Arlesia sensu Massoud, the CephalachorutesspecieshavetheirsetaMSofant.
