He has a teaching appointment with the University of Toronto, is the medical advisor to the adult program of the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre in Whitby, Ontario, and is a member of the Clinical and Scientifi c Section of the Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA), where he currently serves as Chair of the Dissemination and Implementation Committee for the 2008 CDA Clinical Practice Guidelines.
