It has come to the attention of the author that five dicyemid species were omitted from Table 1. They are presented below, including information on collection locality, microhabitat and morphological characters. The name of the Belgian biologist, who made the first attempt to classify the dicyemids, was also published incorrectly in the above article as ?douard Van Beneden. The correct spelling is Èdouard Van Beneden.
