As a reflection of these contributions to the overall knowledge landscape of Annals, this volume index both maintains as well as expands the journal’s comprehensive ‘Subject Index’? <www.elsevier.com/locate/annals>. Eleven new subjects, including topical, geographical and organiza- tional terms, were introduced into the headword list of the cumulative index. They are: Actor, Amazon, ASEAN (under Organization and Association, Intergovernmental), Baltic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Creativ- ity, Geology, Macau, New Caledonia, Oil, and Sleep. The expansion of knowledge on existing subjects can be seen from the following head- words: Experience, co-created; Industry, creative; Knowledge, consul- tancy, synthesis; Methodology (under Data Collection), time budget; Paradigm, critical tourism studies, participatory; Social, norm; and Theory, psychoanalytic.
