As a unique, premier meeting of researchers, professionals, and practitioners, SNLP providesaplace andopportunity for themtodiscussvariouscurrentandadvanced issues of interests in NLP. The eleventh conference will be held in 2016 and is hosted by Thammasat University in cooperation with the National Electronics and ComputerTechnologyCenter(NECTEC)andArtificialIntelligenceAssociationof Thailand (AIAT). This conference offers excellent networking opportunities to participants, with a wonderful taste of local culture. High-quality research papers andcasestudiesareinvitedtobesubmittedelectronicallythroughtheconference’s Web site. This year, we expand the symposium to organize the First Workshop in IntelligentInformaticsandSmartTechnology.Thereare94paperssubmittedtoall workshops. Sixty-six papers are accepted to present in the workshops. After an intense discussion during the workshops, we selected papers from all acceptedpaperswith33%acceptanceratio.Therefore,thisvolumeincludestwelve regularpapersfromtheSymposiumonNaturalLanguage Processingtrackandten papers from Workshop in Intelligent Informatics and Smart Technology track. We believe that the workshops provide a valuable venue for researchers to share their works and could collaborate with like-minded individuals. We hope that readers will find the ideas and lessons presented in the proceedings relevant to their research. Finally, we would like to thank the Eleventh International Symposium on Natural Language Processing (SNLP-2016) Executive Committees and Program v vi Preface Co-Chairs for entrusting us with the important task of chairing the workshop program, thusgivingusanopportunitytogrowthroughvaluableacademiclearning experiences. We also would like to thank all workshop co-chairs for their tremendous and excellent work.
