ORDER 7930.2R National Policy Effective Date: January 5, 2017 SUBJ: Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) This Order prescribes direction used to format and distribute information regarding unanticipated or temporary changes to services, components of, or hazards in, the National Airspace System (NAS). Controllers are required to be familiar with the provisions of this order that pertain to their operational responsibilities. The Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) system does not advertise data already published or charted.
