ANNEX A1 INFORMATION ON BTO FLATS IN MAY 2016 EXERCISE ANG MO KIO COURT Ang Mo Kio Court is bounded by Ang Mo Kio Street 22 and Street 23. It has 590 flats, comprising 156 units of 2-room Flexi, 234 units of 4-room, 148 units of 5- room and 52 units of Three-Generation (3Gen) flats. The 3Gen flats, with an internal floor area of about 115 sqm, are purpose-built for multi-generation families. 2 Within Ang Mo Kio Court, a roof garden on the 24th storey of Blk 228A, provides space for residents to gather and enjoy the view of nearby park. Another roof garden on top of the multi-storey car park, connected via a link bridge from Blk 227A allows for family gathering and interaction. These roof gardens are also open to the public. 3 Residents may patronize the HDB Neighbourhood Centre (NC) at Kebun Baru Mall or the Mayflower Shopping and Food Centre where there are a wide variety of shops to cater to their daily needs. More shopping and dining choices are available at the bustling Ang Mo Kio Hub at the town centre. For leisure and recreation, residents can visit Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Ang Mo Kio Community Centre or Kebun Baru Community Club. 1 2 BEDOK NORTH WOODS 4 Bedok North Woods is located along Bedok North Road. It has 357 flats, comprising 110 units of 3-room and 247 units of 4-room flats. Facilities to be provided in this development include a Residents’ Committee (RC) centre and a Childcare centre. 5 Within the development, the roof gardens on top of the multi-storey car park and at Blk 429B and 430A provide alternative outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy and increase the social interaction among residents. These roof gardens are also open to the public. In addition, Bedok North Woods will have a rental block with 128 units of 1-room and 175 units of 2-room rental flats. 6 Residents will be served by the Bedok Integrated Transport Hub located at the Bedok town centre. Residents can also patronise the HDB NC at Kaki Bukit Market and Food Centre. 3 4 EASTCREEK @ CANBERRA 7 EastCreek @ Canberra is bounded by Sembawang Road and Canberra Street, near Sungei Simpang Kiri. There are 1,252 flats comprising 610 units of 2-room Flexi, 116 units of 3-room, 350 units of 4-room and 176 units of 5-room flats. A childcare centre will be provided. 8 Within the development, the precinct green and publicly-accessible roof gardens of the multi-storey car park (MSCP) and childcare centre provide space for community gathering and bonding among residents. The MSCP roof garden also provides good elevated views of the surrounding. Located next to the development is a proposed park, which is fronting Simpang Kiri park connector. 9 EastCreek @ Canberra is served by a network of bus services, providing good transport links to the proposed Canberra MRT station (under construction), Sembawang MRT station and bus interchange, and Town Centre.
