It marks the second consecutive year that the women's lacrosse champions will be crowned at the University of Maryland. 1994 will mark the third time that the championship will be held at Maryland since 1987. The women's championship marks the beginning of the most exciting two weeks in lacrosse this season. The Terps are also playing host to the 1994 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship in Byrd Stadium (May 29-31). The success of past NCAA lacrosse tournaments at Maryland was a large factor in seeing both the men's and women's championship return to College Park for a second consecutive year.
