This could be caused by the fact that gym memberships peak in January (not to mention the previous month’s wages whittled away on turkey and all the trimmings, mulled wine and gifts galore) as the nation embarks on a fitness frenzy. The exclusive event debuted last year as a celebration of the £28m transformation of Exhibition Road and returned for a second round. The 150 attending guests were divided into three groups, each starting at a different museum and moving between venues simultaneously at two intervals during the evening. Each group got the chance to experience the diversity of the various event spaces at the three venues, as the museums showcased separate spaces for the different stages of the night.
